This is mostly a decorative candle but if you wish to burn it, place a plate underneath and never leave it unattended.

The correct way to burn your pillar candle
Keep away from drafty areas.
Always keep your "candle" on a dish.
Before lighting, please trim the wick to 1/8"-1/4" and center it.
DO NOT BURN IT FOR MORE THAN 2-3 HOURS AT A TIME!
